I recently heard Olorun Agbaye by Nathaniel Bassey featuring Chandlermoore and Oba.
And damn! The song hit different it hit different when I discovered the meaning.
Olorun Agbaye – Means Creator of the Universe
The second response means – the one wrapped with clouds.
I don’t know about you but the song is everything for me!
The word of God is sharper than any two edged sword according to scripture meditate on this today.

Most people engage into these spiritual antics for entertainment while many believe these actions are harmless. The Scriptures clearly states these things are prohibited and can put us in grave spiritual danger. Many Christians don’t realize that the Bible explicitly prohibits Believers from engaging in necromancy. We are prohibited from practicing divination or seek omens (Leviticus 19:26), not to turn to mediums or seek out spirits (Leviticus 19:31), and not to consult with the dead.

“Pray without ceasing” 1Thesselonians 5:17
Pray when you are happy.
Pray when you are sad.
Pray when you are tired.
Pray when you are afraid.
Pray when you are promoted.
Pray when you receive the promise.
Pray without ceasing.
I have asked myself this question time and time again.
I came across a few scriptures the most striking one being 1Thessolonians 5 : 22 ” Abstain from all appearance of evil” it really rattled me.
After a little research here is what I discovered about Halloween.
Halloween has its origins from an occult. During this time it was believed that spirits of the dead came back to earth where humans were. The spirits were associated with causing havoc while the Celts and druids who celebrated what is now known as Halloween appreciated the spirits of the dead because they somehow helped them with their visions and prophecies.
And so the Druids made huge sacrifices to Celtic gods and wore costumes which we have now adapted as Halloween costumes. Whew ! shocker right?
Well now you know you can read more about the origins of Halloween on the web and remember our blueprint for living which Jesus Christ gave us has told us to ” abstain from all appearance of evil” 1 Thess 5:22

Its kinda hard to admit or accept that you are in a one-sided relationship. You might even ask whats wrong with being in a one-sided relationship?

Hay guys , here are some things you should not be sorry or apologizing for doing
I used to want to be the go person for everyone, I wanted to help as much as I could. I didnt realize that gradually, I had begun to let go of myself.
While taking on people’s loads, worries and talking with someone about what they were going through at odd hours of the night, I told people what I thought was best for them,I had begun to create unhealthy relationships.
Dont get me wrong, helping other people is not bad but my problem was I could not say no.
I didn’t know how to tell people what I needed and so I waited for them to figure out what I needed ( most times they dont get it right).
These are all signs of an unhealthy relationship but I had no one to tell me. I will share in my next post how I overcame these unhealthy relationships and how I created healthy boundaries.

There is something Interesting I found in Genesis that I would like to share with you all.
From Genesis 10 which is after the earth had been flooded by God , you know the legendary ark Noah built! I wonder how it must have felt knowing that only your family would survive and create a new world order.
What would have been your reaction if you were Noah? For me I would get every seed of my favorite fruits to plant at wherever we stop😂.
But Noah is not the focus for today, the focus is on his sons the generations after him.
The bible calls them the sons of Shem they made up nations of the earth after the flood ( Genesis 10:31-32)
In Genesis 11 , the sons of Shem created bricks and mortars but that was not what interested me,what got me stunned was their audacity in verse 4.
In verse 4 of Genesis 11 , the people being of one language decided to create a tower that would reach heaven to meet God. After reading that, I was like what?! Did this people not know about Adam and Eve? Didnt they know that if they creator wanted them to reach heaven he would have created the bridge himself?
In verse 5 when God came down I was like dang! They are gonna have it from God now ! I waited to see how God would punish them for their plans or something .
But I was shocked by his response he simply said ,”… and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do…” ( Genesis 11:6 paraphrased) and yes this is God speaking.
Can you see the power of imagination??? Every creative process starts from the mind , your mind is the workroom of your creating process.
God came down because their imaginations that he saw could not be restrained, they could not be stopped because they had imagined it already God had to come down!!! Let that sink in , God came down not for Sodom or Gomorah or for the sins of the city Noah lived in , no, Hod came down because some men imagined something that they believed they could achieve.
Your imagination is powerful use it wisely be careful what you create with your mind, you can create fears with your imagination, use your imagination wisely.

I had just finished an internship with a reputable firm and I expected that they would take me in for a full time role.
I got no offer from them, it was heartbreaking and wrenching for me because I did not know what next to do.
Infact my prayers to God became questions I would break into tears while praying. Why me? I would ask
In all of this, I questioned myself, my future and the dreams that I carried with me from childhood.
What I failed to realize was that this was my waiting room and whatever I would do in that period would change a lot of things.
Through it all Tauren Wells song ” Gods not done with you” became the song on my lips.
So many of us go through this waiting process its important to know that everyone goes through it and whatever you do during the waiting process matters a lot.
